Hybrid – powertrain?

Can I buy a powertrain for a hybrid or electric car? Is there a kit car to a Ferrari or Cobra style car? Can a hybrid has two engines, one front, one behind that one HOT ROD? Two answers were very informative. I liked the Ford / Siemens engine on eBay and Ferrari replica. Peugeot coupe? Is it what Columbo drive? The goal is not fuel efficiency or even practical everyday use. It is to launch a new sport, supercharged family sedans launched Nascar. Thanks to all.
